Down's and Proud Fundraiser Fun Day

April 13, 2018

As a wise Princess once said:
"Have Courage and Be Kind."

Here at REAL Princesses NI, we try to live by this quote. Taking part in our local community and making sure we give back in any way we can. Particularly important to us are charities involving children.

When we heard that Down's and Proud were having a fun day, we knew we wanted to help. Who wouldn't? It's a brilliant charity; Down’s & Proud, Lurgan was founded in October 2007. The group was set up to help local children with Down’s syndrome overcome obstacles that may be in their way and act as a Support for their families, who as the name suggests, are incredibly PROUD of them.

We had our Ice Queen and Snow Sister visit the children's fun day at the Woodville Arms, Lurgan; they had an absolute BLAST!

Our Snow Sisters had the most fantastic time; there were so many fantastic local children to sing and dance with. Our Ice Queen showed off her moves at the disco and even got to lead a conga! Fans of magic, the sisters also really enjoyed the magician's show.

It really was a fantastic day, and all credit to the organisers of this event. Big thanks go to Down's and Proud chairperson Aine Beatty for making our Royal Guests feel at home.
We were extremely pleased to see that the fun day (and fundraising evening) raised over £7000! We hope to work with this charity in future, so please follow them on their

Please please support this fantastic charity in any way you can; donate anything you can afford to give, even if it's just your time. Here is a link to their JustGiving page.

Have a MAGICAL day!
